So I treated myself to a couple Black Friday goodies 🙂  Perusing one of my favorite blogs,  TheMopTopMaven, I found she was having a sale on her handmade jewelry line, Frank & Myrrh.  I’d been eying a couple of her earrings for the longest and this sale was the perfect opportunity to grab a couple pairs. So I did.

Package was delivered exactly a week after ordering via USPS Priority mail. The earrings were packaged in jewelry box made of recycled cardboard (very GREEN), tied with a ‘Thank You’. Very simple, yet creative.

Inside, each pair of earrings were wrapped in tissue paper nestled in cotton, which is also a continuation of being GREEN as she can fit multiple sets of earrings in one box.

These earrings are really unique and I love them!  Although, I expected the the wire that runs through the Blue Pangea discs to be a little more sturdy than it is. It results in the earring easily bending, losing its perfectly rounded shape. Being that it is bendable wire, it’s also easy for you to bend it back into the round shape.  The Cairo Crescent earrings are BIG and attention grabbing! Just the way I like ’em! They have a vintage-like brushed finish which makes the pair look worn.  Neither of these earrings are heavy on your lobes. Both of these earrings have 14k fish hooks and wire, which is great for those who have allergic reactions to nickel, etc. No earring back included, but I’m quire sure I have extras laying around.

I have my eye on her tribal necklace.  Maybe at the next sale …  So until next time MoptopMaven…

Please check out her store!  New items have been added this week!
