Argan oil is also known as argane oil.  Its source is the kernels of the fruit that is produced by the Argan tree located in Morocco. This oil is difficult to extract from the tree, which results in the oil being high priced.[Source]

The benefits of this oil is much like that of Jojoba Oil as it improves hairs’ elasticity, helps to smooth the cuticles, seals moisture and restores life to dry damaged hair. [Source]

I have used both of these oils and I must say there is no difference in the way each of them makes your hair feel and/or look.  While my hair was straight and in its natural state, I completed a side-by-side comparison. I used Moroccanoil on one side and One n’ Only Argan Oil on the other. Absolutely no difference.  Both oils left my hair feeling shiny and silky. A little definitely goes a long way with both of these products!  This is a definite SAVE! If you have ever been interested in trying Argan/Moroccan Oil keep an extra $20 in your pocket and purchase One ‘n Only Argan Oil Treatment.
Have you tried either of these oils before?

I have only used 100% Argan oil…not that mix of stuff. I really like the oil.

I'd love to try that. Where did you purchase?

These oils are basically silicones. Argan oil is one of the last few ingredients.

lol I purchased both and decided I loved the moroccan oil. I am going to re-vist the argan oil and see if I too, get the same results. I use it on straight and curly hair as well.

wow thanks for this comparison. I never understood all the hype around the product with the blue label…esp after seeing that they also use cones and dyes. etc.
