Photo Review: Qhemet Biologics Aethiopika Hydrate & Twist Butter

in photo review, product review

Since the release of this butter in the Spring, many have been curious about it, including myself.  After my review of the Cocoa Tree Detangling Ghee (CTDG), I decided to try a few more Qhemet Biologics products. The Aethiopika Hydrate and Twist Butter is not locally carried so I ordered it online along with a few other products. I decided to share a photo review for those of you interested in the texture of this product.

The butter is yellow in color and has a smooth texture.  The body is stiff and becomes creamy when emulsified . No gritty feel.

The right portion shows butter that has been smoothed into my palm.  Post smoothing elicits a oil-like sheen.

Very…. so…. should I buy it?
(Although I’m such a Qhemet groupie, I probably will anyway…. )

It’s a nice butter. Left my twists very soft. It’s more butter-like when compared to Jane Carter’s which to me is more oil like. A little goes a long way and this jar could last me atleast 6 months.

Thanks for the pics! The texture looks similar to Darcy’s Madagascar Vanilla cream. I am trying to decide between this and the AOHC.
