Check out this braided and twisted protective style by MahoganyKnots called “Page FiftySix”. The original style in the Essence Magazine was created using knot-less cornrows (tutorial) or what some call feed-in cornrows. This is the process where you begin braiding with the persons own hair or a little synthetic hair and add hair as you progress down the braid. This allows the cornrows to look the most natural. This style of braiding is what we employ the most in Virgin Islands.
