[with comparative shopping commentary]

Phyto’s Phytophanere Vitamins
Available at Sephora.com
West: Although $25 is a good price for 60 capsules, $31 for 120 is an even better price when comparing  $0.42 vs. $0.26 per capsule if purchased on Amazon.com HERE

Mizani’s “Thermasmooth” Line
Available at Folica.com
West: Purchasing this system can run you $75, but perusing Amazon.com leads to deals of $26 for the shampoo and conditioner found HERE, the Smooth Guard serum HERE for $18.95 (including shipping) and the Shine Extend serum for $14.85 HERE. Purchasing this set on Amazon.com will cost a total of $60. That is $15 less than Folica.com and shipping is included in the Amazon total price.

FHI Runway
Available on FHIheat.com
West: This iron is a splurge for those who do not use heat often but is great because it features 2 of the characteristics needed for straightening natural hair; adjustable temperature gauge and coated plates.  These plates happen to be made of 6 layers of ceramic helping to increase the moisture lock.  The retail price of this iron is $495, but Amazon.com currently has it priced at $425 including shipping HERE. Also make sure to demonstrate caution when using heat, reading THIS will help to reduce the possibility of heat damage.

What other gifts would you suggest for a hair diva like yourself?

I love reading all these cute “wish list” blog posts during this season. They always make me chuckle. I just did my own for writers. I can relate to this one though as I am in the process of making a gift basket for a young girl self-concsience about her hair. She’s on a budget and doesn’t have access to much so I figured I’d include a small book, some Giovanni products, a bonnet/silk pillow case, accessories, plastic caps and some hair clamps. I also figured I’d print out some information for her about hair care.
