Historically, Ida B. Wells is my biggest role model, closely followed by Ella Baker. I got to meet Angela Davis at Yale this weekend though, which was incredible–she’s definitely someone I admire.

I adore Josephine Baker. She was glamorous, talented, independent and had a highly spirited.

I adore Diana Ross. She is my Hair, Mother, and Career inspiration. This is one lady that has done it all and raised beautiful children all while looking fierce.
