You may be thinking “lunch lady”, but the ladies in the cafe’ may know a little something we don’t — a snood is a great and easy way of protecting your hair (and food lol). It is as easy as 1 – 2 -3!

1. Gather your hair
2. Slip on your snood
3. Tuck away loose strands

Snoods come in various colors and are significantly cheaper than knit beenies. Snoods are also more comfortable in warmer weather as they allow air to pass through the scalp freely. I purchased my snood in a beauty supply store years ago, but they can also be purchased online for chump change HERE.

What quick and easy method do you have for protective styling?
