Jojoba Monoi Deep Conditioner
This conditioner has a thick consistency and distributes easily while coating the hair. It has a slightly faint scent of a floral fragrance, which I suspect is due to the Tiare flower. Not over powering at all.
After clarifying I applied the EBW deep conditioner on 3/4ths of my hair and another conditioner, which has previously demonstrated great results, on the other 1/4th. I do this because I like being able to compare a new review to an old and faithful. As usual I donned my heat therapy wrap for a few hours.
Four hours later I rinsed in the shower. I was absolutely surprised at the at how soft, silky and moisturized my hair felt. I went from section to section expecting there to be some sort of fluke, but it was very consistent all around. Even that one section of hair that I added the old and faithful conditioner, which I might add has a price tag of x2 as much as the Eden Body Works — I could not tell the difference.
Jojoba Monoi Hair Milk & Hair Oil
The scent of both is slightly floral, yet it has a warm undertone; the floral scent dissipates and the warm fragrance remains. Consistency of the hair milk is like a thin lotion and the oil is… oily lol but very light.
As usual I stretched my hair before styling (what is stretching? see here) using a dime-sized amount of hair milk distributing evenly through each section and then sealing with the hair oil and braiding. The next day some parts of my hair was slightly damp so I followed with a quick run of the blow dryer (less than 1 minute on each section). But before blow drying I did take note to how shiny and smooth my hair felt with just air drying. The cuticles were layed honey!
When your cuticles are flat, your hair shines more, increasing its resistance to loosing moisture and (for me) helps to increase definition of a style encouraging definition to last. What you see above is what my hair looked like after removing the final (loosely braided) braids used for stretching. I followed by styling in fat flat twists. If you follow me on Instagram you’re already privy to this 🙂
This stuff is super affordable, does a great job adding sheen and softness, is all natural and can be found locally in Walmart! Click here to find which Walmart near you carries the line. In all realness, these products were provided to me for a review consideration, but you better believe I will be copping everything from this line myself! I especially love the oil which think it will be great for oil rinsing after a deep conditioning treatment. I’m not fond of the spray nozzle since the stream is so concentrated and not mist-like (for adding sheen to a style you don’t want to disturb), but being that I mostly spray the product in the palm of my hands, I can forgive EBW 🙂

This style was done using the hair milk and hair oil as the stylers. Consider the fact that these are not marketed as styling products, I did not expect there to be definition or holding, yet the definition was there (and remained) after I twisted-out the style. I’d also like to add that I was in humid South Florida during the life of this style.
Forgive the display of my undies above. I was super tired and not concerned lol.
