MAC Studio Moisture Tint (1.3 fl oz) $31 – A lightweight, hydrating, tinted moisturizer that delivers nourishment for the skin. This easy to apply tint has just enough coverage to even out skin tone and provide moist, flawless finish. Ingredients Not Available.

Maybelline Dream Fresh BB Cream (1.0 fl oz) $7.50 – Dream Fresh BB Cream 8-in-1 Skin Perfector is the 1-step wonder for a good skin day, everyday. Get 8 skin benefits in 1 simple step — Blurs imperfections. Brightens. Evens skin-tone. Smooths. Hydrates. Enhances. Protects with SPF 30. 0% oils and heavy ingredients. Ingredients Not Available.

Unfortunately, ingredients for these products don’t appear to be listed anywhere on the web and that’s ok.  For this comparison review ingredients are secondary, but photo proof is KING!

Last year, as my skin began to clear up I’d done away with foundation and have been wearing a tinted moisturizer instead, for a little over a year.  After many samples from different cosmetic counters I finally settled on MAC’s Studio Moisture Tint and had been wearing that foundation for about 2 tubes. Late last year I randomly strolled through the cosmetics aisle and decided to try the Maybelline Dream Fresh BB Cream. It was $7 bucks and this particular store has an awesome return policy. What did I have to loose?

I’ll admit, I am in no way shape or form a makeup guru, but I know enough about products and application to make sure I don’t look crazy when I decide to clean myself up a bit.  I lean more towards the natural look on the regular; mascara, lip gloss, blush, bronzer, and tinted moisturizer (with MAC SkinFinish).

Proof is in the pudding right?

Do I even have to say that I’ll be saving my money from here on out?  I don’t see a reason to shell out $30+ bucks to MAC when a $7 product yields the same, maybe better results.

SAVE wins!

I’ve been wondering what BB creams were for. Seems like I’ve been hearing a lot about them lately.

You’re right. It has been of late. I’d never heard of them before last Summer.

Did you set the BB cream with anything? I have it and have used it and although I like it I can’t use it all the time because I look shiney after wearing it for about 2 hours. Any tips?

The Maybelline looks better. Sometimes more omeny doesn’t mean better product or products that works best. I use the Smashbox BB cream. For some reason it is the only brand I’ve found that has a true deep selection. I still have to apply my mositurer before I apply the bb cream. I have notice a difference in my skin as a result of using it for less than three weeks. These bb creams are suppose to protect, hydrate, smooth, even etc.
