I received a bunch of goodies to try from the GLAM BEAUTY BOARD[+] a few weeks ago.  Let’s discuss:

So naturally my eyes darted straight to the Biolage ExquisiteOil Treatment[+]. After all, it is a hair product. Reading the ingredients, I was not surprised to find a cone as the first ingredient. I’m ok with cones, but choose not to use them as styling products. Per the instructions I used it as a pre-poo treatment. I added about 6 pumps of the super thin oil to my hair the night before wash day, concentrating on the ends. Unlike coconut or olive oil, this product absorbed into my hair nicely and I wasn’t overly subconscious about looking like a grease ball since I did go to work the next day with it still in my hair.

Oil of Olay soaps happens to be one of the very few that I am not allergic to. This Venus Razor[+] is great for a few reasons; the detachable head, suction wall hanger, and there is an embedded Olay Moisture Bar aka built-in shaving cream. In reality, I really didn’t need to use the EOS Shave Cream[+] but I did. By the end of my shower, the bathroom smelled like berries and cream with this duo. I followed up with First Aid Beauty Intense Therapy Cream[+] and let me say, this stuff is RICH! I really liked that it contained no parabens or harsh chemicals, is allergy-tested and fragrance free. Looking for a winter moisturizer? Try it!

Continuing my afternoon of Me Time I gave myself a mani-pedi. I typically opt for old and reliable skin lotion to moisturize my cuticles, but this coco mango fragranced Alessandro Nail Cream[+] was a nice splurge. Dry cuticles, be gone!

Under eye bags, dark circles, fine lines, wrinkles? Nope, not a fan. But I am a fan of retinoids. Philosophy’s Miracle Worker[+] contains them. Retinol increases in your skin’s ability to turn over cells making new skin cells surface faster than usual. This ingredient is also often found in anti-aging and acne products. This cream applies smooth and absorbs well into my disappearing fine lines.

Last but certainly not least, Maybelline Rocket Volum’ Express Mascara[+]. I’m always a little leery of products with purposely spelled words in the label, but this product right here is the TRUTH! If it is noticeable lashes you want, noticeable lashes you will get! I’ve been using this everyday since!

Also included in the beauty box was Oil of Olay’s CC Tone Correcting Cream[+]; with it’s immediate skin tone evening and sunscreen it’s worth a try.

Any of these products sound interesting?
