I love this season and all the beauty it brings — warm weather, sorbet colors, and sundresses. I’m ready! I figured I’d welcome Spring with a bright and fun nails. I tend to hesitate when it comes to nail art because my designs can be very distracting to the kiddos in therapy (I’m a therapist), so I attempted a floral design… on one nail lol.
I used this tutorial. Subscribe to Totally Cool Nails[+]
I LOVE colors in the teal family. For my attempt at floral nail art I used Revlon’s Eclectic as my base, which I snagged on my latest trip to Target. Glitter is really starting to grow on me these days so Revlon’s Moon Candy Supernova was definitely in order (used on pointer finger).
The flower design was very tedious but super easy to duplicate. No need for perfection. In the end it will look like a flower once the leaves are added.
TIP: To make your manicure last longer, when adding your topcoat, drag the brush along the edge of your nail tip first and then apply the polish on top. This helps to seal the polish from air and water, preventing chipping.
In case you are interested, the hair behind the hand is a twist out, but of course you know this because you follow me on Instagram[+] 🙂 And you also know that I will be reviewing a very popular YouTuber’s product line in the near future. Stay tuned!
