peek into my world

Judging by the title, you can tell I watch entirely too much Martin Lawrence lol. Anywho! Here are a few bunch of pics from my latest trip. There are a few clues that will give away exactly where I vacationed. Can you guess where?

We started off the trip right — w/ food! We went down to the local eatery, which was kind of like a strip mall of restaurants and I loaded up on this fried shrimp and potato wedges.

This spot is also well known for its daiquiris.

Then a day of sight seeing downtown.

Then some more food!  This was grouper, plantains, and peas & rice — looks like chicken doesn’t it?

A little cracked conch, peas & rice, fries and coleslaw.

A little relaxation at the beach — wasn’t BVI (the island I’m from) water, but I guess it was ok considering the island isn’t located too far from the states.

A few conch fritters.  The batter used for these fritters was quite tasty, but there wasn’t much conch.

At another establishment. These fritters were quite conchy, but the batter wasn’t that great — a little gooey in the middle.

Passed this market place on our way to catch the ferry on over to a neighboring island.

Rode by this house in the middle of the water while on the ferry.  This house was said to have been used to film a movie, but I forgot which one.

Overlooking the hotel’s marina. We were told the cost of parking your water vessel there is $7 per foot per day. Got a 50 foot yatch? $350 a day buddy! And 50 ft is quite small compared to what we saw parked.

Donned the knitted cap and off to the airport we went, but one last daiquiri before we jet.

Where was I?
